:: FLYING ON MARS ::
- from an experienced martian pilot -

Flying on Mars requires an intense respect for the conditions, precision required, and circumstances in which you are flying. Takeoff and landing operations are normally at about 400kts groundspeed, with final approach glideslope around 1.2°. Enroute flight is at extremely high groundspeeds, but turns require a lot of forethought & planning. Plan for a 50nm final approach path. -j6
