I'm looking at the time in the cockpit display
I'll try to get an HD video out for this.
Starting gate crossed at 150.1 seconds
end first lap at 319.4
319.4 - 150.1 = 169.3 seconds or 2:49.3
second lap starts at 319.4
finish at 487.3
487.3 - 319.4 = 167.9 seconds or 2:47.9
Admittedly, I cut corners on the second lap. I will take a disqualification on the second lap.
Two laps are needed for a qualified record.
Hey, nobody said this was going to be easy...

Testing out Jasons Mustang VTOL
Look carefully, this is not a still image, it is a video. There are no special effects or editing involved here.
It is part of an actual flight in X-Plane.

Third try. First was in the hay (but very close), made it on the second but came down pretty hard.

@ 5U1, flew a version of the same pattern each time in each helicopter to review each of their handling qualities. To feel how each are unique in what way and how. Each flight is within op limits. Takeoff, acceleration, turn, high speed, wingover return, arrival and landing. Didnt really mean to do them all the same but after the first couple, thought why not do them all to put a hand on the controls of each for a brief early evening shakedown and to check for any loose bolts on any of them. have fun watching.
