CR11 with the Lear is an incredible challenge. I landed this bird with the speed brakes on, and brakes engaged. I was no more than 100 kt velocity.
She was barely able to stay in the air and manuevered like an elephant on ice with little or no air under the wings.
I stuck the landing and blew a tire about 25 feet too late.
She rolled down the runway and slowed very quickly but begged me for that 25 ft I denied her on landing.
Slowly, ever so slowly, she went over the edge and into the pond...
The people at the Valhalla lodge were nice enough to bring everyone towels... Looks like we'll be here awhile.

Hi Everyone,

After quite a few hours of filming and editing, I present to you this little tribute to your freebies! The 250TR is a buzzy little hornet, pretty twitchy for a beginner, but just so fun to weave through the amazing new Shanghai scenery by Snowbird. The Cassut, with its striking livery, makes a good 'surpriser', flitting in and out in time with appropriate shocks in the music. I'll be posting this to the .org video wall in a week, to show off this scenery and your fun little gifts to us. Watch in 720p mode if you can.

I shudder to think what I'll do with my latest PAYWARE purchase (206 helo)! Hope you enjoy this as much as I had fun flying.

Edit 7 feb 2010: thanks for posting another freebie Jason - the fanliner! Looks so unusual. Just took my first flight in my new BX206, a nice smooth handler, I'll be racking up a few miles in this one! Simon

You are "C74 King of the Vid" Simon. A good demonstration of our free QUALITY aircraft. That little 250 is like a little Porsche Carrera. It zips like a starving Hummingbird looking for a fix. And, of course, the Cassutt, which manuevers INCREDIBLY well through downtown traffic.
Your use of the filters and your camera angles made an extremely dynamic and eye fixing presentation.
I know you spend a great deal of time and energy in these vids. The hits in You Tube are for good reason, they're great vids.
Stay with it. You are a genuine assett to this company. ;)

Thanks Col! Funny, i didn't use any filters, except for some well timed flash transitions, so my next vid might look even better (I'm slowly grappling with Sony Vegas effects). Happy to show off jason's unique creations, having fun flying the bx206 around Corsica right now, you'll love what I post on the weekend. Simon

BRAVO!! A very good demonstration of handling the Mustang. I see Open Scenery there. Is that your work?
Good Vid. Car was also a nice touch. Welcome aboard Pilotman.

Thank you very much! Yes the Reykjavik scenery I threw together one afternoon with openscenery. The Sheiffeld scenery is from the .org and the car is from x-objectware.com . The Toronto scenery is freeware for FS2004 and I converted it a while back and added alot of static planes (the Air Canada ones)

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated
