Last plane out of KCGS before it shuts down for the night at 2200

Night flight to KFDK, following the VOR & the lights on I-270

Went up again in daylight to practice some basic aerobatics, wondering why have to give it so much nose up trim to get through a simple loop…

CX172_340.jpg
…that would be why. Actually managed to do several loops like this, and even made a good (i. e., can walk away) landing.

KDCA to KMNM in the LJX. Figured out how to get an FMS plan into the G430 (set a key/button to "load fms plan" function), tried it out on this flight.

ps. did you get my e-mail about the pilot figures? just want to make sure it didn't get spam folder'd cause there was an attachment

RX_SR2X_INT_2048.jpg
present_form Cirrus SR (9X-10X)

I ran across that one still hiding in a webserver folder. thought I'd drop a comparison of the evolution of the Cirrus SR 'panel' cockpit experience. I'm considering putting up the all-acf-only 20/22/SE as retro-ware along with SR2X 10X. Not sure who would appreciate it, but they're interesting to see. I may even fish out the 2D panel one shown above somehow.

those, and the topic for the pilot figures is on the to_do list for the weekend. thanks for sending the pilot figures email, I do have it and will be hopefully putting up a topic for them, likely in the free download category, thinking one entry post for each plane model they go with, and an associated screenshot. one topic for pilot_figure downloads, each post to that topic being for each plane. thought being, all someone then needs to do is go down the one topic and download-download-download of each one for the things they have and want to get pilot figs for. :)

I totally agree with that too. Phenomenal pictures Aquila. the_Colonel will be happy to see you going into Bonneville and to your parking space he did up for good_guy friends. Those pics of the LJX are great, and the ones of the girl in the back looking out the window are awesome. beyond great stuff Aquila. :)

I'll add too, that for the LJX (and same applies for LFX) that your figures in there really give it it's apparent scale. It's really nice to see figures in there showing it's GA scale. Even the spacious inside-the-aft-cabin area.

Thanks! Thinking of adding hide/show animations to this one so the number of passengers you see agrees with your payload weight. (Also I always liked the reserved parking spots at QSAF.) I may actually do a couple different sets for LFX/LJX, these figures look good with the GA-style liveries but might go for a different look for the military-style ones. Maybe a racing-style set for Bonneville, with heavy-duty racing seatbelts (as in my X-114 at .org) instead of shoulder belts.

KRIV (.org fly-in location) to KINW in the Hawk, real time/wx, real charts, no autopilot:
