On final into Oakland after a long day in the air...

Just wanted to share a shot of the 9.5 Arrow with my own custom avionics package... truly a dream to fly this aircraft.

A little experiment with a short track from acf to obj for the sake of fully unwrapped, reflective render baked texture and normal mapping.

EA500, downloadable now in the free hangar.

I'm beside myself... :D And the livery looks a little familiar ;) I think an octopus would struggle to keep up with your multi-tasking abilities.

Just as pretty in X-Plane as in Blender.

thinking I want to dive in and do those lines new at double resolution to fine them up.

also, do you have "compress textures in VRAM" on? that mottles the normal map resolution also

just updated the EA500 again. redid the black & white file used as the bumpmap source, at 4096, with brand new fine 1 and 2 pixel lines at that resolution. that being the bump/normal map source for blender that renders the normal map to the unwrapped 2048 texture file for the aircraft model. the normal map resolution is tied to the main texture resolution, so lower main texture res setting, or the compress textures in vram degredation, and the resolution of the normals will be lower. I'd like to see someone with maximum settings, extreme res, w/o vram compression, drop a screenshot pls. I can only see what it looks like in blender with the fine render. my machines cant do ppl or that high (extreme res).

new EA500 posted just now and is downloadable. have at it.
