With my Windows running in a box I wanted to reinstall my PSP 9 and found out that the memory stick with the installation file and the license is lost. So I installed the new build from Corral as a 30 days test software. Jesus, there is so much new, they screwed that easy to use and powerful software. I spent the weekend with making my own layered paintkit for the Saratoga using Gimp again. Standby for some new upcoming repaints.

Agreed. My life could have been easy. Instead I started painting aircrafts. :D

My notebook died few days ago. My budget was a little bit cut by my wife with a big summer vaccation at the horizon. So the new one is an i3, 4GB RAM and a 1GB Nvidia card. XP9 runs smooth as silk with almost everything maxed out.

Edit: 8MB RAM corrected, it's only 4.

Aloha Ralf,

What rez do you use on the i3-setup? And what frame rates you get?

I'm running X-Plane at 1366 x 766 in full screen mode. Here are my settings:

Flying a pattern at a very demanding add on airport my fps never dropped below 35. XP9 is very easy on todays medium hardware. One little correction, there's a little typo in the description of my notebook, it's 4GB Ram, not 8.

Two screenies from that test flight, so you can have a look how everything was displayed.
