I like the last one, where the Lear is viewed from the front. Nice!

WIP. varying some methodologies for some of these interiors.
all in pursuit of the *nicest* experience. :)

Finally got a chance to dive into the Lear 25. Thank you for a wonderful product! It was exactly what I was looking for, and much more! I was expecting a basic, functional aircraft, based on your price, but I found an incredibly detailed, and beautiful plane! You attention to detail is remarkable, and commendable! Your price is astounding for such a product!

Thanks again!

Respectfully,

Dan

You're most welcome. You may quote me, but I ask that you use only my first name.

By the way, I've been simming for decades, since the good ol' days of DOS. My all time favorite plane is the dc-3, well, because of its impact on aviation. I mainly fly that. Next, it is the 727, due to it being a pilot's plane. Now, I add your lear 25 to that list. A true challenge to manually fly by the book (which you've provided), but sooo rewarding! By the way, it has already bit me a few times... back to learning!

Any chance I could sweet talk you into modeling a 727 for xplane9? ; )

Take Care,

Dan

for LJ25.

:?:
leave it as manual-manage pressurization?
or set auto-manage pressurization?

It is a 2 pilot required aircraft.
I put auto-throttle-speed buttons in on the co-pilot side to emulate a co-pilot assisting to regulate speed/throttle.

similar logic applies to pressurization.

I need to visit it's hydraulic system to verify it has 1 hydraulic pump, not two, and whether it's switch activated or accessory engine driven.
I see it deliberately has 1 not 2 selected for engine driven hydraulic pump, and specific pressure.

yes for v10, seeing as Gaston Beyers stole the gear doors like a common chop-shop degenerate, I need to put it's gear doors back on, but I find it to be a modestly low priority. and believe you me, that stupid v10 gear door issue still incites me as such a ridiculous senseless change.

I'm still thinking about what other liveries to do for this.

I've been thinking of;
one or two 'Group 6' style liveries
another couple less descript Merx* types.
maybe some more interesting color banded or striped charter/private styles.

basically, it's just such a nice jet that it really flies so nicely, so satisfying, that it deserves some additional interesting liveries as well.

I'm clueless about cockpit mgmt. My gutfeeling: keep stuff as close to the original while trying to get the highest realistic feel for the sim pilot. My points is like: if the cockpit and systems provide me enough input to make me think I'm piloting around, the model has done its job. I don't mind if this sim model is another type rating, or consider it a LJ25C with special equipment. On the other hand I can imagine others to prefer 1:1 modelling.

For now I won't try to think through these design choices. I'm zooming around in it at this moment. :D :D :D
